Body as an Archive

By : Junru Wang

This solo performance is a deeply autobiographical journey tracing a childhood shaped by military circus training and joining Cirque du Soleil at nine — and the path from obedience to owning the body and voice. Part confession, part endurance ritual, the piece moves from discipline, repetition, pain, and control toward reclamation, authorship, and self-definition.
